Office Manager

Joe I. Zaid & Associates, Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Law Firm, whose home office is in Pasadena, Texas. We are currently experiencing growth and are seeking an Office Manager to join our team. 

Job Title: Office Manager 

Summary

The Office Manager will oversee and support staff and perform the following duties to facilitate the efficient operation of the law firm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
  • Handles sensitive employee relations issues such as discipline and termination of employees.
  • Takes lead on HR matters with assistance of Insperity HR team and firm leadership.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with leadership to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Trains office staff per company standard operating procedures.
  • Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
  • Participates in strategic planning process with management to identify and accomplish short and long-term organizational goals.
  • Establish Liability for the claimant(s).
  • Set up Claims with 1st and 3rd party insurance companies.
  • Assists with other duties, as assigned. 
  • Position is 100% On-Site 
  • Office Hours Monday through Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

Education and/or Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field required, 5 years of HR investigation experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years HR investigation experience
  • Experience supporting hourly employee client groups
  • 3-5 years Supporting 20-50 staff experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior management position

The pay range for this position is $45,000.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
